A two-day training course dedicated to Hybrid Internal/External Fixation (HIEF), an innovative approach that combines the strengths of internal osteosynthesis and external fixation for safer and more effective fracture management.
The course will cover the biological aspects of fractures, the technical principles of stabilization, and the treatment of complex cases such as pelvic and tibial fractures. Participants will alternate between theoretical lectures and extensive practical exercises, working with linear and circular fixators.
The HIEF technique allows for minimally invasive procedures, immediate weight-bearing, and a reduced risk of complications, ensuring faster recovery and long-term stability.
